ABOUT CSA

What is CSA?

“CSA” stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a model that allows customers to buy directly from the farms that produce their food. Being part of a CSA or Farm Share program is different from shopping at your local grocery store. The structure consists of shares and members. Members pre-pay for a share of the upcoming season's harvest and in return receive the freshest, cleanest and most nutritious food on the planet, at a discount. Members get to know their farmer and how their food is grown, and support local farms that protect the environment and preserve open space.

How our CSA program works

Each week we harvest the freshest seasonal ingredients and pack and deliver a share for each member of our CSA community. We offer 4 membership sizes with each size allotted a predetermined number of "credits" per week. You can use your credits to completely customize each week's delivery through your online account. If you forget to customize your box we'll still send you a fully filled box of the newest, freshest, and most exciting items available each week. Members can either pay for their share in full, and receive a 3% discount on the total, or pay in monthly installments through July 1st. Check our FAQs below for more information and a full list of CSA Home Delivery Locations.

You'll often find larger quantities of each item in your box, for example the Large Share might get 3 pounds of potatoes instead of 2, or 2 bags of spinach instead of 1. Here are some stats on this membership size:

  • 12 different items per week on average, $46.00 per week

  • Larger quantities

  • Feeds 4-5 people

  • Great for a family that loves to cook

FAQs

Can I pay for my share in installments?

Yes! You can pay in full or sign up for automatic installment payments online (no extra cost). Payment plans run monthly through July 1st so the earlier you join the more monthly installments you can make.

How long is the season?

Our CSA program runs for 25 weeks from the first full week of June to the week of Thanksgiving.

What's in a CSA share?

We grow just about everything you can think of plus some items you probably can't! In 2025 we are offering over 200 different produce items (fruits and veggies) grown entirely on our farm. We also stock over 1000 "add-on" items from local, organic and sustainable producers that includes dairy, cheese, grains, preserves, and more! We also make all of our "seconds" available through our online store at a 50% discount, so if you don't mind ugly produce you can save even more and reduce food waste! Please note that bread and egg shares are delivered weekly and must be purchased separately and are not available for purchase à la carte.

How do I sign up for the CSA program?

Signup is easy! Just click on the either the 2025 CSA tab on the main menu above, or one the “Join” buttons on the top and bottom of this page. There, you can select your membership size as well as any "add-on" membership options like bread, milk and eggs, and then head to the online checkout. During checkout you will create a personal account which you may login to throughout the season to make changes and adjustments to your membership, including swapping and adding items. Using your account is easy but as we get closer to the start of the season we will send emails to all members with detailed information on how to use your account.

How does home delivery work and where do you deliver to?

Do I have to be home to receive delivery?

Absolutely not! Your share is delivered in a wax box that's great at retaining moisture and keeping veggies cool. However during the hottest months many of our members choose to put out a cooler for our delivery drivers. Our drivers will happily unload your box into a cooler.

How do credits work?

Each share size is allotted a predetermined number of "credits" per week. You can use your credits to completely customize each week's delivery through your online account/the CSA store. If you forget to customize your box we'll still send you a fully filled box of the newest, freshest, and most exiting items available each week. Please note, your weekly allotted credits do not roll over so if they aren't all used they won't be available the following week. Credits derived from a delivery hold on the other hand do roll over and are available to use anytime throughout the season.

I go on vacation during the season, can I put my share on hold?

Absolutely! You may take an unlimited amount of time off during the season and receive store credit for missed shares. Credits can be used to add more produce to your share throughout the season, put toward a share the following season, transferred to another member, or even redeemed for a gift certificate. You can put a hold on your delivery by logging into your online account created during checkout. Once logged in, select the 'Delivery hold' tab and submit the dates you need to have your delivery paused.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my share during the season?

Yes! If you would like to start out with a smaller share you can upgrade to a larger one at any point during the season. Your upgrade will be prorated to reflect the week of the season your new share begins. If you would like to downgrade, you will receive a credit on your account for the difference. Credits may be used the following season, transferred to another member, or even redeemed for a gift certificate. Please note that upgrades may become unavailable if our membership is full so it’s best to choose the size you plan to stick with.

Can I cancel my share?

Yes, you can stop receiving your share at any time and receive a credit on your account for the remaining balance of the share. Credits may be used the following season, transferred to another member, or even redeemed for a gift certificate. Please understand that the CSA program is a partnership between our community and the farm. Because we plan months in advance and commit to delivering fresh, high quality produce all season we cannot offer cash refunds.

How do communal drop sites work?

Communal drop sites are available for corporate clients, and qualifying communities outside of our home delivery territory. It works like this: we deliver to a central location such as a neighborhood porch, office lobby, or local business, and allow members to pick up their boxes during a predetermined time period, usually from around 1pm-8pm. Drop sites are a great way to bring community members together and get fresh, local produce in underserved areas. Our CSA program is also a great perk for employees and a fantastic way to promote your business. Large drop sites are even entitled to member discounts! Contact us for more info on setting up a drop site.
